What You’ll Do
As the Lead Cash Specialist, you’ll be the go-to for everything related to incoming payments and cash application. You'll lead daily operations and work closely with the Financial Operations Supervisor to keep things accurate, efficient, and on track.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily activities of the Cash Application team
Receiving, sorting, scanning, and remotely depositing incoming payments
Applying payments correctly to customer invoices and managing credit card authorizations
Reconciling credit card payments with bank statements
Preparing and maintaining daily cash activity and reconciliation reports
Supporting cross-functional teams with payment-related information when needed
You’ll help create smoother workflows, faster processing, and fewer headaches — all while leading a strong, capable team.
What You Bring
3–5 years of experience in cash application or similar finance/accounting roles
Strong Excel skills, including functions and pivot tables
A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required if you’ve got the skills and experience
A problem-solver mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
A track record of bringing smart, creative solutions to the table
