About the Job
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. This person should have working knowledge and experience within Revenue Cycle Management & Product Management. Given the dynamic nature of the position, we will rely on the Assistant Director to be flexible and consistent while maintaining the confidentiality of high-level systems and operations. The Director of Kure directly oversees Kure Technologies and Kure Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). The Assistant Director will work closely with the Development team and RCM team to help keep these teams focused so that they meet their key performance metrics for the departments and directives from the Director. Issues that require input from the Director will be escalated along with applicable information/data regarding the state of the issue. Otherwise, the Assistant Director will facilitate issue management in concert with the departments.
Responsibilities:
- First-Level management of RCM – meets with team weekly to evaluate the status of the department fulfilling their key performance metrics. Provides summary reports to the Director.
- Managing administrative functions related to patient service revenue in the healthcare sector.
- Overseeing the entire revenue cycle process, from patient registration to final payment.
- Managing patient billing and insurance claims.
- Creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying lost revenue.
- Implementing RCM strategies to minimize losses.
- Resolving billing-related issues and ensuring efficient claims processing.
- Second-level management of Kure – focusing on soliciting feedback from user base and translating feedback to the Director for future development. Functions as an expert-level Kure user to assist with resolving user issues so that issues escalated to the Director relate to core Kure functionality that requires a more involved solution. Assists with overseeing the India-based Kure user help-desk function.
- Guide the product from initial concept through development, launch, and ongoing improvements. They’re responsible for adapting the product based on user needs and market shifts.
- Manage professional and personal scheduling for the Director & Senior Vice President, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics.
- Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to and from the Director direct reports.
Requirements:
- Four or more years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to upper management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
- Understanding of medical terminology, coding and billing procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees.
- Proficient with monday.com
- Understanding of tech stacks, programming basics, and software development principles, though coding isn’t usually required.
Educational Background and Certifications:
- A degree in business, computer science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is often required.
- Certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) can be advantageous.
