This position is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all customer inventory is properly verified to be reflective of reported Inventory. Duties also include miscellaneous Fulfillment return to stock activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper electronic transactions
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads and follows work instructions, procedures, policies, safety procedures and completes various forms and reports.
- Perform Planned/ Immediate cycle counts on daily basis to maintain Inventory accuracy and assist in smooth flow of orders to Fulfillment departments.
- Perform return to stock activities including moving the over-picks, cancelled orders back to Inventory.
- Perform random audits of incoming client material to monitor baseline accuracies.
- Report discrepancies of over/under variances to Quality Manager and resolve them on timely basis
- Ensure the Inventory is stored in proper locations. Conducts research on Inventory variances, monitor and locate any misclassified Inventory, bringing to the attention of Operations Manager.
- Ability to operate RF scanners with minimal errors and familiarity with Warehouse Management systems
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment (Forklift’s, Order picker, Wave assist vehicles)
- Develop and maintain working relationships with Supervisors, Managers and fellow employees within the facility
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to distinguish between same and different colors, styles , products etc.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
