The Leave & Benefits Administrator is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plan. Serves as leave administrator and workers compensation administrator for entire company.
Duties And Responsibilities
Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollment to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
Enrolls employees with carriers and processes life status changes.
Responds to benefit inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefit enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
Responsible for leave and ADA administration.
Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
Manages the open enrollment process.
Prepares and manages reports for allocation/billing for all group insurance coverages.
Complete benefit surveys and benchmarking exercises with accuracy, perform analysis of results, prepare recommendations for potential benefit design and/or program changes and present findings.
Research potential benefit design and/or program changes and present findings and recommendations.
Participate in the open enrollment selection and pricing process, implementation and testing of new plans with internal team, carriers, and enrollment vendor.
Collaborate with internal team members and enrollment vendors in the design, implementation, and improvement of benefit processes and procedures.
Ensure all benefits are administered in accordance with Plan Documents.
Resolve escalated associate service issues as it relates to benefits and supporting programs.
Ensure associates are properly enrolled in benefit plans and resolve system eligibility and service issues in a timely and courteous manner.

Education And Experience
Associate's degree preferred in HR or related field
Three years' experience in HR and/or benefits administration; including leave administration, ADA and workers' compensation required
Proficiency with payroll systems preferred
