We are seeking a motivated Painter Apprentice with the desire to be a part of positive and growing organization! Our Apprenticeship is a full-time PAID role (roughly 2 years duration).
This person will:
Essential Duties
- Partner with a Journeyman Painter to support and learn refinishing efforts, to include:
- Mix and apply paint, and finish to match original colors, following specified color charts
- Use and maintain various tools and equipment such as spray guns, air compressors, power tools, etc.
- Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags, and unpainted areas
- Ensure that all materials are mixed and applied according to specifications
- Follow all health and safety precautions
- Maintain clean work areas
- Communicate with coworkers and customers
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
Education and/or Experience
- Experience with automotive care, including detailing, body/collision, or maintenance a plus.
- Desire to pursue a career in automotive refinishing.
