Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise nursing staff on assigned shifts, ensuring medication distribution, blood draws, and other patient care activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct regular nursing rounds on each unit to monitor patient care and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Provide education and training to staff, residents, and family members as needed, promoting best practices and quality care.
- Ensure all staff members adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator, supporting the overall success of our care team.
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN Registered Nurse license in the state of Connecticut.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous long-term care experience is essential for this role.
