We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Supervisor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a long-term care setting, overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
About the Role:
- Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shifts by monitoring medication distribution, blood draws, and other aspects of patient care.
- Conduct regular rounds on all units to ensure seamless operation and address any concerns promptly.
- Provide education and training to staff, residents, and their families as needed.
- Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Requirements:
- Prior experience managing staff is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Computer knowledge.
- Previous long-term care experience is beneficial but not required.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must have an active RN Registered Nurse or LPN Licensed Practical Nurse License for the state of Maryland.
