Now Hiring: Activity Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
- Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
- Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
- Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout facility.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently or part of a group- Effectively communicates with other
- Computer knowledge.
- Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required
- Artistic background or previous instruction from certified activities consultant
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours, every other weekend, and holidays when necessary
