Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our team at Complete Care at Hyattsville. The DON will oversee all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Ensure quality of care through ongoing assessment, planning, and evaluation of nursing services.
- Implement and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and retention strategies to meet facility needs.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews to promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current Maryland state licensure.
- Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or similar leadership role in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and survey process.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
