What you’ll be doing:
- Triage patients and assist with emergency medical procedures
- Monitor vital signs and provide immediate care under the supervision of healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and tests
- Maintain and organize medical equipment and supplies
- Administer first aid and life-saving measures as needed
- Document patient information and update medical records
- Assist in patient transportation to/from various departments
Required Qualifications:
- Current Paramedic, EMT-P, EMT- A, EMT B, or LVN license in good standing.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in an emergency room, urgent care, or similar healthcare setting.
- Current BLS and able to obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire all through the American Heart Association.
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and CLIA standards
