Position Summary:
As a Nurse Practitioner in our Free-Standing Emergency Room, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of acute medical conditions. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of emergency medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding their condition and care plan.
- Perform minor procedures as needed (e.g., suturing, wound care).
- Collaborate with emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Emergency or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in [State].
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ENP, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Advanced clinical skills and the ability to manage emergency medical conditions independently.
