Position Summary:
As a Recruiter, you will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for clinical and administrative positions, including Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), Office Managers, and other essential roles. You will utilize various sourcing strategies, including networking, direct outreach, social media engagement, and recruitment events, to build a strong talent pipeline while ensuring compliance with hiring regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to attract skilled physical therapy professionals.
Actively engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referral programs, and direct outreach.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for high-demand roles.
Create and update job descriptions to accurately reflect job duties and compliance requirements.
Develop compelling job postings that highlight company culture, mission, and benefits.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates for skills and cultural fit.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
Manage job postings across multiple platforms to maximize candidate reach.
Facilitate background checks, reference verification, and onboarding for new hires.
Organize and attend career fairs, industry conferences, and networking events to promote employer branding.
Track recruitment metrics and adjust sourcing strategies based on hiring trends.
Ensure compliance with hiring regulations and employment laws.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
3 years of recruitment experience, ideally in healthcare or a physical therapy setting.
Strong experience in proactive sourcing, direct outreach, and networking.
Proficiency in Paycor Recruiting or similar applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of physical therapy licensing and certification requirements is a plus.
Familiarity with employment laws (EEO, ADA, FLSA) and hiring best practices.
Willingness to travel for job fairs and recruitment events.
