- Every Other Weekend Required
- Experience with activities/recreation strongly preferred
Responsibilities Activities Aide:
- Coordinate activities that meet physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of our residents.
- Assist with planning and promoting recreation-based activities that stimulate the mind and body and promote social interaction.
- Organize and engage in group activities
- Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout facility.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Recreation Therapist Certification required.
- Positive and energetic individual with creativity
- Ability to work independently or part of a group.
- Computer knowledge.
- Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required
