The Infection Preventionist is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating infection control and prevention programs in a long-term care setting to ensure the safety and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• IP Certification a MUST
• Excellent Excel Spreadsheet Knowledge and MDROS Experience
• RN license in the state of NJ
• Prior experience in infection prevention in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of infectious diseases, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in infection prevention.
