Activity Director Qualifications & Responsibilities :
- Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion
- Must possess an ADC, CDP, or CTRS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care, as a supervisor
- Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary team
- Developing care plans, monitoring systems and all documentation requirements
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, Residents’ Rights
- Supervising the Recreation Department personnel
- Creating, planning, implementing monthly calendars and newsletters
- Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
- Creating, Planning, and Implementing Facility Event Calendar for staff
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Creating person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and special sensory activities
