As a CxA, you will work closely with design and construction teams to develop commissioning plans and execute functional tests on mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Your expertise will be vital in validating that these systems are installed correctly, functionally tested, and are fully operational prior to handover. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to analyze complex systems and provide recommendations for improvement. You will play a key role in promoting energy efficiency and operational excellence within our data center projects. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commissioning plans and protocols for data center systems.
- Lead the functional testing of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment on commissioning goals and schedules.
- Document test results and compile comprehensive commissioning reports.
- Identify issues and recommend solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff involved in the commissioning process.
- Act as the main point of contact between the client and various stakeholders during the commissioning phase.
- Promote best practices in energy efficiency and sustainability throughout the commissioning process.
Requirements
Required:
- Experience in commissioning of data centers or similar critical infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and building automation controls.
- Experience with energy management systems and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and project teams.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and produce clear, actionable reports.
- Proficiency in commissioning management software tools is a plus.
Beneficial:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification as a Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or equivalent is preferred.
