Department: Tool Room
Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for the inventory control of items maintained in the tool room. Maintains the tool room in a neat and orderly fashion to make sure that company property is clean and well maintained. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Specific Responsibilities
- Issues tools and supplies to production personnel using a company computer system
- Returns tooling to assigned tool room location
- Re-stocks tools and supplies as needed
- Conducts inventory and cycle counts to limit or correct any discrepancies or deficiencies
- Keeps accurate records for our computerized inventory system
- Additional functions as delegated by supervisor
- Class C Driver’s License
- Intermediate computer knowledge (Ten-key accuracy is a plus)
- Knowledge of automotive parts and tools
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and under strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Position may require 1 Saturday a month of overtime
- Carry, pull and push up to 50 pounds of dead weight
- Climb up and down a ladder
- Sit, stand stoop, kneel, squat, crouch and or crawl
- Twist or turn in confined spaces
