Responsibilities
- Design and prepare innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations and food safety practices.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of guests.
- Monitor food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency in quality and service.
- Implement effective shift management strategies to optimize workflow during peak hours.
- Follow recipe standards given and provide new location appropriate recipes.
