Complete Dental is looking for a Dental Patient Coordinator to be responsible for taking inbound calls and scheduling appointments along with insurance verification. You should be proficient in dental practice management software to update each patient's file, verify insurance, and upload accurate insurance into patients' electronic files.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years in a dentist office environment
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Experience in a dental practice management software, prefer Open Dental software.
- Microsoft Office experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Knowledge of dental procedures and insurance billing code
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly via phone
- Collaborate with dental staff to maintain scheduling
- Handle insurance verifications, adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
- Make outgoing phone calls to patients to confirm their appointments.
Scheduled shifts are typically Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7AM – 6PM with a day off during the week. The candidate must have previous experience in a dental practice and be familiar with major insurance companies. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment.
