1st Shift Packer (Half Day Fridays)

We Are Looking to Quickly Fill Several Positions for Packers - to Work in our Wilshire Avenue Warehouse in Concord NC!

Privately owned and operated for over 20 years, Complete Design & Packaging (CDP) has grown from a small brown box manufacturer into a state-of-the-art sheet feeder plant specializing in high graphic packaging and Point-Of-Purchase displays.

We currently have openings for Packers at our Wilshire location. Under general supervision, these employees perform work in the fulfillment department on an assembly line folding boxes, setting up displays, stocking product in the displays, and prepping the displays for shipment to customers.

This is a 1st Shift position with a very generous schedule:

Monday - Thursdays, 630am - 3pm; Fridays, 630a-11a

(Work for 38.5 hours, get paid for 40 hours)

Occasional Overtime May Be Required

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Build displays with product by hand following specific set of instructions.
• Inspect and prepare products for packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assemble and label boxes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer specifications.
• Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation.
• Monitor packing materials and notify supervisors of any shortages.
• Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
• Seal displays with fasteners and label them for shipment.
• Perform as needed or above the rate expected for the task.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and protocol for pack out area.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment - in all Seasons (hot and cold).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Must submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check. (IF YOU CAN'T PASS DO NOT APPLY)
• Ability to frequently lift up to 20 pounds.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Must be: Team Player, Detail-Oriented, Self-Motivated.
• Some warehouse experience strongly preferred.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
