Optician

Complete Eye Care is looking for a dynamic Optician to join our team. The ideal person must be able to work with our large base of customers by delivering quality optical care and outstanding and friendly customer service. You must be able to assist patients with eyeglasses fittings, eyewear testing and other optical dispensing. You must also possess strong sales skills by demonstrating a high level of knowledge about our products and determining our patients’ needs for eyewear so you can recommend specific accessories or enhancements for glasses. Ophthalmic experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Fit and adjust eyeglasses to customer's face.
• Assist customers in deciding whether to purchase glasses or sunglasses.
• Helps customers in finding frames that suit their style, face, and specifications
• Make sure the customer is satisfied with their purchase.
• Answer customer's questions about purchases.
• Receive and review prescription with customer for accuracy and completion.
• Sell products that help correct a person's vision.
• Educate customers on how to wear and maintain glasses.
• Maintain effective merchandising presentation of frames.
• Troubleshoot problems with glasses.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work in Optical software and other computer programs
• Experience working in a medical, Ophthalmic practice
• Ability to build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
