What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time front desk receptionist position at Complete Family Healthcare?
Complete Family Healthcare is looking for a part time front desk receptionist to work alongside another part-time front desk receptionist at this two-doctor chiropractic clinic that has been in the North-winds business park in Alpharetta serving patients for over 20 years. This new receptionist will be fully trained by current experienced front desk receptionist prior to working as a regular weekly solo front desk receptionist at this high volume clinic.
Responsibilities
Front desk duties will consist of answering phones and scheduling new and existing patients, entering their information into the software, checking patients in and checking patients out. Insurance verification processes and claim status phone calls/emails between patients and a brief end-of-day report process each PM shift worked once trained how to do this. Front desk duties will include arriving 30 minutes prior to opening and staying 10-45 minutes until after we close depending upon the volume and the time needed to successfully complete treatment of the last appointment times and completion of printing/reconciling end of day reports needed that day. CFHC patient hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9-1 3-6pm with Tuesdays and Fridays 9-2pm. This front desk receptionist candidate must be available to work at least three PM shifts/wk. to satisfy the available hours currently needing to be staffed at the front desk right now. Future scheduling shift changes/swapping with other front desk receptionist will be possible once fully caught up as an inter-changeable skilled front desk receptionist.
A 3-4 week training process of an abbreviated two day/wk. schedule will need to happen to be paired up at all times with another receptionist prior to regular hours of 2-3 days/wk. or 4-6 shifts/wk. as a solo front desk the majority of the time depending upon flexibility of days. Wages for this position are above industry standard.
Qualifications
We are looking for a professional and organized individual with high level multi-tasking skills and exceptional in-person and on the phone communication skills. This job is meant for someone who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and is naturally health minded. Healthcare or fitness industry receptionist experience is a plus. Experience with health insurance filing processes is a plus as well.
