We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful execution of fire sprinkler projects from inception to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.

Job Summary : As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing fire sprinkler system projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and quality standards. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal departments to ensure the successful delivery of each project.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage fire sprinkler system projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and project requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and national fire protection codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with design teams, estimators, and field supervisors to ensure project goals are aligned and achievable.
  • Monitor and adjust project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Lead regular project meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and ensure proper communication among all stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks by identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure installations meet the highest standards.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, including status updates, financials, and any changes to the scope of work.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed on all job sites and that all workers adhere to safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to field teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on fire sprinkler systems or related construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, NFPA standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, including budget management, scheduling, and team coordination.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • NICET certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain within a specified time frame.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to visit job sites, including potential exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as needed during site visits.
