We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our mobile fleet service center. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the automotive service center, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any customer concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with technicians on vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels of tools and parts, placing orders as necessary.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and present findings to upper management.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement among staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or service management is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience in auto restoration, vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed in the workshop environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
