Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Intelligence Developer for a contract-to-hire position in Jacksonville, FL . The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in designing and developing business intelligence solutions, with expertise in Power BI and SQL as must-have skills. Experience in the healthcare industry is a strong plus. This role involves creating dynamic dashboards and reports to empower business decision-making and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dashboard and Report Development :
- Design and build interactive, visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and user experience.
- Data Analysis and Modeling :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Create and maintain data models and ensure data integrity for accurate reporting.
- Data Integration and Transformation :
- Use SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Integrate data from databases, APIs, and cloud platforms into Power BI.
- Performance Optimization and Maintenance :
- Optimize Power BI dashboards and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Regularly review and enhance existing reports to ensure they meet evolving business requirements.
- Healthcare-Specific Reporting (Preferred) :
- Leverage experience with healthcare datasets such as EHR, claims, or patient metrics to create targeted solutions.
- Adhere to compliance requirements like HIPAA when handling sensitive data.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders to deliver actionable insights.
- Provide training and support to end-users for effective use of BI solutions.
