Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, behavior management, and patient care to support all individuals leading a typical life.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals in our program homes
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals' needs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications
- Previous experience in direct support, patient care, or related fields preferred
- Familiarity with systems for tracking and documenting care services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and/or independently
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
Shifts Available:
- FT, various shifts*
- FT, awake overnight
- PT, various shifts*
- Weekend Warrior (FT on the weekends only!)
