Plumbing Supervisor
Complete Mechanical Services is an award-winning Industrial Contractor located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded over 25 years ago, we provide innovative solutions including capabilities in Project and Construction Management, 3D Scanning & Design, Shop Prefabrication, Plumbing and Civil/Site work.
We are currently looking for an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join our team in Blue Ash, Ohio.
JOB SUMMARY
The Plumbing Supervisor oversees and coordinates the work activities of employees performing plumbing and/or general labor in an industrial or commercial setting. Manages daily schedules, making sure quality and productivity standards are met while ensuring a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise employees to ensure tasks are completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Provide training and mentorship to new and existing employees, ensuring they understand safety procedures and technical requirements.
- Inspect work to ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality specifications.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to work product, design, equipment, or materials.
- Enforce any customer specific job, safety or quality requirements and ensure the team maintains these standards.
- Make decisions quickly and effectively to minimize project delays and ensure smooth workflow.
- Often performs manual work alongside employees in pipefitting/plumbing/welding
Qualifications
- 5 years managing commercial or industrial plumbing construction projects
- Knowledge and understanding of plumbing codes, inspection process and licensing requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (plan sets, blueprints, structural, P&ID, isometrics, elevations) and create take offs from drawings and project documents.
- Knowledge of general safety rules regarding LOTO, confined space, scaffolding, trenching, excavation, and fall protection.
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
- Plumbing license preferred.
