Position Summary
This position is responsible for monitoring, securing, and protecting an assigned worksite that has 24/7 coverage and will require the working of weekends, holidays, and alternative hours. Shift differential pay for this position is $1.00 extra for evening shift and $2.00 for overnight shift. This position will be changing to be an armed position in the future. When this change takes place, further compensation increases will take place for employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Complete rounds at the worksite as frequently as required by the specific worksite
· Respond to any emergencies or calls for service at the worksite which could include the restraining of another person
· Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and incidents to the proper staff/supervisor
· Monitor and review CCTV/cameras as needed
· Contact public safety/police as needed
· Monitor the worksite alarm systems and respond to any triggers as needed
· Support the worksite with visitor access control and log ins as needed.
· Completion of daily task logs and reports, ensure reports are completed timely, accurately, and in the proper company systems
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· High School Diploma/GED
· 5 years of related work experience, military/law enforcement background is preferred
· CPR certification preferred
· Firearm permits/state right to carry permits preferred, will be required for this jobsite in the future
· Intermediate computer/technology skills with the ability to use database software and contact management systems (Familiarity with GenTech system preferred)
· Ability to use handcuffs, batons, or firearms are required
· Ability to deescalate situations at a moment’s notice
· Provide a high level of customer service with positive client interactions
· Possess a strong level of interpersonal communication skills in both verbal and written methods
· Ability to write detailed and thorough reports
· Possess a minimum level of math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
· Have a very high level of skill relating to exercising independent judgement and making important decisions in the moment with minimal supervision
· Ability to operate independently for extended periods of time

This position must possess close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment for this position is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The position is also occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes/particles, chemicals, and a risk of electrical shock.
