Position Overview :
If you have multispecialty (OS, Perio, Endo) dental assisting experience, this role is for you!
This role will support the integration of traveling specialty services into independent general and pediatric dental offices. The Dental Assistant serves to support and provide on-site training to enhance office efficiency and workflow in preparation for specialty production days. The team member must enjoy teaching and interacting with staff members of all skill levels to improve patient experience and financial results.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Supply / equipment inventory and prepare supplies for specialty procedures.
- Assist surgeon with patient care, organize treatment workflow to prepare for next patient treatment
- Assist with pre-op and post op instructions
- Implement changes and provide education and feedback to providers, departments and offices in relation to denials that impact revenue
- With integrity and composure between patients, staff and specialists
- Assist patients that have any questions about treatments
