What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Coder and Billing / Collector ( MUST BE LOCAL ) position at Complete Staffing LLC?
MUST BE FROM LAKE CHARLES AND OR SURRONDING AREAS !!!
Our client is looking to bring on someone to their team that has at least 2 yrs experience in Billing coding/ Collecting and Modifiers. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN EVERYTHING LISTED BELOW
Job details below
Review and analyze medical documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
Follow up on unpaid claims and denials , daily by phone.
Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations
Must have
Must have billing / coding experience
Must have Modifier experience
High school diploma
Strong knowledge of medical terminology ICD -10 and CPT coding
Must pass a drug screen
Must pass a background
Must have steady work history
