Established medical office is seeking an important addition to their team. The Patient Care Coordinator will handle patient calls and inquiries and effectively manage the schedule for multiple offices/practitioners. Must have ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service. Professional verbal and written communication skills – phone, in person, and in correspondence is required. Take care of insurance verification, enter invoices, and contact patients for follow-up and to confirm appointments. Must have strong functional ability w/Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel/Word/Outlook and have experience verifying insurance benefits, including understanding coverage details. Professionally greet and check out patients in a courteous manner. High School Diploma required and minimum of 1-year professional work experience; preferably in a customer-focused front office role. This job is located in the Orange County area. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00. The pay rate is $14 an hour.
