Cancer center looking for full-time, contract MA.
13-week contract with strong chance of extensions/permanent conversion.
Hours: 8:30-5 M-F
Rate: $25/hour
Responsibilities:
Greeting patients and escorting to exam rooms upon arrival
Triaging patients over the phone and in-person
Performing vitals and physical assessments
Following up on patients treatment plans
Assisting physicians and nursing staff with any clinical functions needed
Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited school of Medical Assisting
Medical Assistant Certification OR Diploma
National or state registration strongly preferred
BLS through American Heart Association
Epic experience required
At least 1 year of recent clinical experience
