Trailer Repair Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on various types of trailers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, ensuring that all trailers are safe and operational. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance to provide high-quality service.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify any mechanical issues or necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including aligning, adjusting, and replacing parts as needed.
• Repair or replace damaged parts and systems such as brakes, doors, landing gear, lights, and sheet metal repairs.
• Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Ability to work on your own at a fast and safe space.
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed on each trailer for record-keeping purposes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in trailer repair or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to trailer systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to trailer repair are a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
