Repair Coordinator

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Routes parts out for repair to MRO repair shops and works alongside the Planners to ensure parts are returned on time and meet our customers' requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Create repair orders for parts being sent out for repairs
• Handles customer issues regarding material services activities
• Analyzes vendors requests- emails triage, processing and follow-up.
• Participate in special projects - customers’ and vendor meetings, conference calls.
• Controls the returns of unserviceable parts and constantly updates database
• Monitors backorder and repair order management, maximizing the efficiency of inventory and overall material costs.
• Interacts and follows up with several departments/ sites to resolve customer issues concerning exchanges, part returns, including issues of quantities, technical specifications, serial numbers, etc.
• Attend daily, weekly, etc. meetings to ensure knowledge of area to better assist customers and team
• Continually seeks opportunities in improve process flow and work efficiency.
• Performs other tasks as requested periodically.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:  

• High School Diploma.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Aviation Material Support & Services activities.
• Familiarization of aircraft parts; CF6-80A, CF6-50, CF6-80C2, PW2000
• Experience with Quantum.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of aircraft engine parts
• Demonstrate negotiation techniques, and customer services techniques.
• Analysis and planning skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Comprehends value-based management fundamentals (Shareholder Satisfaction x Customer Satisfaction x Employee Satisfaction)
• Proficient in Internet Explorer, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PDF).
• Proficient in logistics movements
