What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Liaison/Marketer position at Complete VNA?
Complete VNA is seeking a full time Community Liaison/Marketer to join our growing organization.
The Community Liaison’s role is to promote Complete VNA in the community and to develop and maintain successful and sustainable relationships with referral sources. The Liaison is also responsible for working with Case Managers, Social Workers, Physician Offices, and others to facilitate patient transition to agency home care services and ensure appropriateness for care in the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis of Past and Current Marketing Data:
- Analyzes the potential of the company's service area to determine target markets.
- Identifies available market share.
- Makes calls on to all potential healthcare settings that could use our services:
- Hospitals, Assisted Livings, Long Term Care facilities, Outpatient clinics, private physician practices, Senior Centers and others.
- Attend appropriate community events in a professional capacity to promote the agency and agency services.
- Organizes and attend meetings designed to provide education on and promote agency services.
- Analyzes patient/company relationships.
- Analyzes advertising and sales promotion needs.
- Develops sales/marketing objectives and sales projections.
- Maintains a new referral quota of unduplicated patients per month.
- Develops a marketing plan, identifying priorities and a reasonable timetable.
- Implements marketing plan staying within established timetable.
- Reviews and evaluates the analyses and plan on an established basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Marketing, and/or Licensed Nurse preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in sales or public relations, preferably in a home health care company or a minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience; or therapist, social worker, or medically trained equivalent, with experience in social services coordination for patients with multiple, complex medical and/or socioeconomic needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to travel as required by the above duties.
- Must have a car with current insurance coverage and a valid driver’s license
