Responsibilities
- Curate and mix music playlists tailored to the specific event and audience demographics.
- Engage with guests through public speaking, creating an interactive and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Set up and operate sound equipment, ensuring optimal audio quality throughout the event.
- Collaborate with event planners to understand client needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries promptly.
- Promote upcoming events through social media and other marketing channels.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition, performing basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Assist with heavy lifting of equipment during setup and breakdown of events.
Skills
- Strong public speaking abilities to engage audiences effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and guests.
- Knowledge of dance music genres and trends to keep playlists fresh and exciting.
- Experience in bartending is a plus for events that include beverage service.
