All departments are responsible for preparing and fulfilling orders as necessary, helping in all areas of the department, maintaining a clean and functioning work area, and communicating diligently with coworkers and management.
Position: Picker
A Picker is responsible for accurately picking items from inventory for order batches before preparing them for shipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize a tablet to access internal inventory platform and log items picked
- Count items accurately and place them in the correct batches based on due date
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of available inventory
- Assist other departments as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to utilize a handheld tablet
- Basic computer skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a production and/or warehouse environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of working on feet and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending or stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
- Visual acuity to read instructions and operate computers
