Custom Wood Product Assembler

All departments are responsible for preparing and fulfilling orders as necessary, helping in all areas of the department, maintaining a clean and functioning work area, and communicating diligently with coworkers and management.

Position: Custom Wood Product Assembler

A Wood Worker is responsible for creating wood products including cutting boards, picture frames and more with the use of wood working equipment and tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cutting boards to length and sanding
• Operating miter saws, drum sanders, planers, routers, slide saws and other wood working equipment
• Producing quality wood products with minimal waste
• Maintaining a clean and safe workstation
• Assist in other departments as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with woodworking tools and equipment preferred
• Experience in a production and/or warehouse environment preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending or stooping
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time
