All departments are responsible for preparing and fulfilling orders as necessary, helping in all areas of the department, maintaining a clean and functioning work area, and communicating diligently with coworkers and management.
Position: Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer will work closely with the sales and productions teams while applying art, design, and copy layout skills to complete various design projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create virtual samples for potential orders and create revisions as requested by customer.
- Adding new products and modifying catalog design.
- Creates original marketing and promotional content in collaboration with the sales team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent artistic and design skills
- Knowledge in graphic design software, especially Photoshop, Adobe Illustration, Indesign, Inkscape and/or Canva required.
- Familiar with various file types and exporting including .dxf, .png, .jpeg, .svg, .pdf and .ai required.
- Knowledge in vector art creation and large format printing preferred.
- Knowledge in Font Lab and/or font editing and creation preferred.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of graphic design experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
