Position: Production Woodcraft Technician
A Production Woodcraft Technician is responsible for creating wood products including cutting boards, picture frames and more with the use of wood working equipment and tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cutting boards to length and sanding
- Operating miter saws, drum sanders, planers, routers, slide saws and other wood working equipment
- Producing quality wood products with minimal waste
- Maintaining a clean and safe workstation
- Assist in other departments as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with woodworking tools and equipment preferred
- Experience in a production and/or warehouse environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending or stooping
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time
