We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as the 3rd in Charge in Wheatley In this role, you will support the management of nursery operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will work closely with the nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education, fostering the development of each child in accordance with our educational philosophy. The salary is negotiable depending on experince.
Duties
Assist in the daily management of nursery operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Support the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development.
Supervise and mentor nursery staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for children and families.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere that encourages professional growth.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 3 or equivalent).
Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of child development principles and early years frameworks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
