We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the team at a Supported Living Service based in Abingdon the role is based on a 37 hour week and the salary is up to £29,000 depending on qualifications and experince, this is a highly rewarding role with many benefits.
We are looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team who is a problem solver, able to think fast and be proactive in your approach. You will lead, mentor, and work with the ream of support workers, and senior support workers, to ensure efficient service delivery and effective teamwork. You will be able to provide support to the people you will be supporting, be adaptable, creative, and work alongside them, providing options and choice every day.
You will be a vital part of the team, and deputise for the manager in their absence, making sure that the home runs smoothly and quality assurance is up to date and completed. You will promote and deliver person-centred support each day. You will lead by example in a learning environment, ensuring that on-going training is completed by all staff to the company standards. You will be empathic and able to listen, and problem solve on a day-to-day basis.
Essential
Autism
Learning Disabilities, Managerial skills, including rota management
You will have a QCF in Health & Social Care Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported / residential living.
