As a Senior Support Worker, you will :

Lead and Mentor : Supervise, guide, and support junior support workers to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Provide Person-Centred Care : Ensure individuals receive care that promotes their independence, dignity, and choice.

Manage Care Plans : Regularly review and update care plans to reflect the individual’s needs and preferences.

Ensure Compliance : Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to deliver outstanding care.

Build Relationships : Develop strong, positive connections with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need :

Experience : Previous experience as a senior support worker or similar role, ideally with leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications : NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Leadership Skills : The ability to motivate, support, and develop a team of support workers.

Compassion : A genuine passion for supporting people and enhancing their quality of life.

Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust with individuals and their families.

Organisation : The ability to manage tasks effectively, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
