What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Grinder III position at Complex Assembly - Modern Industries Hermosillo?
Duties/Responsibilities
- Loads, unloads, stops, and starts manual and or CNC machines.
- Performs repeat setups. Listens to machine during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull (in need of dressing) grinding wheels.
- Measures dimensions of finished pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments and fixtures.
- Select and mount grinding wheels on machines, according to specifications, using hand tools and applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.
- Dress grinding wheels according to specifications.
- Must be able to operate various type of type of machines such as surface grinders, CNC grinding machines and or manual grinding machines as well as their maintenance.
- Must have experience on the following: Walter Helitronic Power 400 w/loader and wheel changer (x3), Walter Heli check, Vacuum Brazing machine, (Pin Power), Max-Engineering Wheel dresser, Monosets, Surface grinder
- Knowledge of blueprint reading calipers, micrometers, and basic trigonometry or math skills is a must. Ability to use math to solve problems. Knowledge of GDT.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- A minimum 1-3 years of experience working with various metals.
