What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grinder III position at Complex Assembly - Modern Industries Hermosillo?
Specifically looking for candidates with experience on a Studer S41 CNC Grinder. **
Duties/Responsibilities
Loads, unloads, stops, and starts manual and or CNC machines.
Performs repeat setups. Listens to machine during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull (in need of dressing) grinding wheels.
Measures dimensions of finished pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments and fixtures.
Select and mount grinding wheels on machines, according to specifications, using hand tools and applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.
Dress grinding wheels according to specifications.
Required Skills/Abilities
Must be able to operate various type of type of machines such as surface grinders, CNC grinding machines and or manual grinding machines as well as their maintenance.
Must have experience on the following: Walter Helitronic Power 400 w/loader and wheel changer (x3), Walter Heli check, Vacuum Brazing machine, (Pin Power), Max-Engineering Wheel dresser, Monosets, Surface grinder
Knowledge of blueprint reading calipers, micrometers, and basic trigonometry or math skills is a must. Ability to use math to solve problems. Knowledge of GDT.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
A minimum 1-3 years of experience working with various metals.
