The Complex Autonomic Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing excellent patient care by performing various administrative tasks within a medical office setting. You will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting the medical staff. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, administrative support, and clinical procedures.

*Responsibilities*
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits
- Maintain electronic health records accurately
- Assist with insurance verification and billing procedures
- Greet all patients in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
- Facilitate the check-in process which includes verifying relevant patient information
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Responsible for opening and closing the clinic
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and data entry
- Support healthcare providers with medical coding and documentation
- Coordinate care plans and patient education materials
*Experience*
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist (1 year) or in a similar role is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office management practices is preferred
-Must be fluent in English
- Proficient in medical terminology and basic life support techniques
- Familiarity with medical practices and the care of complex disorder clusters is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to easily navigate a computer and learn new software
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of phone systems and handling high call volumes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
