Manufacturing Scheduler and Pull System Lead
Complex Fabricators is fast-paced manufacturing company that produces parts for a variety of markets, including aerospace customers. We are in a phase of growth and expansion and are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering/ Planner to join our team. This position will provide a great opportunity to an individual looking to expand their career further in a growing company.
To be successful in this position you must be able to interact and engage with various managers, estimators, the Quality Team, the Purchasing Team, CNC programmers, Machinists, Welders/Fabricators/Assemblers, and other members of the Complex team, always building rapport in a positive way.
Manufacturing Scheduler and Pull System Lead Responsibilities:
- Ownership of our manufacturing scheduling processes utilizing our ERP system and our scheduling pull system
- Process and release approved manufacturing work orders
- Seek process and planning feedback from operations and incorporate the feedback into planning as needed
- Understand our change control process and assist in subsequent implementation into planning and production activities
- Coordinate with multifunctional team and customers for review and approval of production work instructions
- Participate in the cross-functional team for activities such as problem-solving, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and employee engagement
- Understand and use various Lean Manufacturing tools (pull, flow, 5s, problem solving)
- Understand and perform in accordance with our AS9100 quality management system
Manufacturing Scheduler and Pull System Lead Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Sense of ownership and responsibility for the overall planning of work in the shop
- Competent in Excel, Word and other basic software applications
- Strong communication skills
- Project Management experience is a plus but is not required
- ERP or MRP system experience is a plus but is not required
- Possess excellent time management and organization skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, methods, and practices preferred but is not required
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
- Able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Have the hand and finger dexterity to work a keyboard
- Good eyesight, including depth perception and peripheral vision
Wage is negotiable depending on experience. Relocation may be available for a well-qualified candidate. As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50-65k per year
