Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external staffing needs
- Supervise, guide, and support a team of caregivers in the field
- Conduct onboarding and training for new staff members
- Use cloud-based scheduling software
- Maintain an up-to-date list of on-call and backup staff and use to secure last-minute coverage
- Communicate with caregivers regarding any updates or changes to their schedule
- Communicate with managers and clients to inform them of any schedule or staffing changes
- Conduct field visits to evaluate care and ensure quality standards are met
- Serve as the primary contact for Spanish-speaking clients and families
- Collaborate with administrative staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate documentation, including client records, care plans, incident reports, and caregiver files
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Home Care Scheduler or in a similar position is preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for home visits
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
