Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct OSHA compliance assessments, risk evaluations, ergonomic reviews, and machine guarding inspections.
- Deliver engaging and interactive safety training across various industries.
- Develop clear, concise safety procedures, presentations, and workplace risk assessments.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as a trusted safety advisor.
- Stay up to date on OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910) standards, ISO 45001, and OSHA VPP requirements.
- Assist in project management, proposal preparation, and business development activities.
- Maintain accurate reports, time tracking, and expense documentation.
- Travel up to 25% to client sites as needed.
- 2-3 years of experience in safety training and consulting.
- Confident, personable, and engaging public speaker.
- Strong ability to develop and deliver safety presentation and programs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on project demands.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Health & Safety discipline (Required).
- Professional certifications such as ASP, SMS, OHST, or CHST (Preferred).
- OSHA 501 (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid/CPR Instructor certification (Preferred).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders, stoop, crawl, and bend.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Background check and potential drug screening required.
- Overtime and flexible hours may be necessary.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance (No relocation provided).
