Position Description:
A Compliance Officer is essential meeting the needs of agencies and monitoring clients. This position will be in a part of the Monitoring Center which supervises local Missoula clients as well as clients in other areas across the state.
- Communicate with referring agencies on a regular basis regarding enrollment of clients, client’s compliancy, violations, and program requirements.
- Enrollment of new clients into any of the programs that CMS operates which includes but is not limited to: SCRAM, Remote Breath, House Arrest, GPS, Drug Patch, and Urinalysis testing.
- Communication in a diffusing, calm manner with clients who can be sometimes hostile.
- Respond, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and problems discovered while installing or monitoring clients. Escalating issues when appropriate.
- Following court orders and referral documents to ensure proper monitoring is achieved.
- Answering phone and troubleshoot questions with other team members
- Recording appropriate offender contact, notes, enrollment, drug testing results, etc in OMIS
- Perform case management duties on specific services in a professional and positive regard
- Communicate with Probation Office regarding any violations, enrollments etc.
- Monitor all clients on technology and drug testing, reporting on violations daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience: To be considered for this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
· Two years of direct public relations and customer service.
· Ability to build strong, appropriate relationships across vastly different backgrounds, experience, and education levels (e.g., Judges to offenders and employers to law enforcement)
· Accurate, detailed reporting according to CMS policies.
· Ability to establish clear and firm professional boundaries.
· Ability to think critically through problems to reach an appropriate resolution
Preferred Skills and Experience: For this position the following skills and experience are preferred but not required:
· Some post secondary education
· Two-year degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Human/Social Services, or
· 3 years of experience in a similar position which includes military experience.
· At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience
· Advanced skills with software systems, databases, invoicing documentation, and spreadsheets.
· Experience with employee scheduling and office coverage
Hours:
· Monday – Friday 8:30 - 5:30 with minimal e weekends as needed for coverage.
· Occasional after-hours duties or on-call duties generously compensated
Probationary Period:
· Six Months
Physical Characteristics: The position requires the following:
· 95% sitting and standing while using computer and completing office work
· 5% traveling via automobile
Wages:
· $17-$20 hourly
· Bonuses available for enrollment of clients on certain programs
Wages: $17.50-$22 including potential bonuses
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
